Condo in Redmond

I completed a staging consult and assisted Bob in selecting furniture and accessories for preparing his home for sale. I really enjoyed working on this project and am quite pleased with the results.

Bob's letter to me...

I’m very pleased to recommend Tim Foley for home staging. When I recently decided to list my home for sale, my agent referred me to Tim. During the initial consultation (which was very reasonably priced) I found Tim to be insightful and likeable, so I decided to go ahead and enlist his services to stage the home.

I am very glad I did. The project went smoothly and was completed quickly. Tim was willing to work around my schedule, including evenings and the weekend. I found Tim to be an excellent communicator; he always shared his thoughts and I actually learned a few things in the process. At the same time, Tim was able to work within my budget and adapt to my tastes. The experience was nothing but positive.

But most importantly, Tim has great skills – the end result was fantastic! I received an offer after the first open house. And I heard many comments from agents, family, friends and even my neighbors on how well staged the home was.

For all these reasons I highly recommend Tim Foley for any home staging project.

Partnership with realtors

For the past year, I have been developing partnerships with various real estate companies and agents to stage homes for sale. This week, I met with Shannon and one of her clients who is beginning the process of getting her wonderful Woodinville home ready to list and ultimately sell.

I met with the client Friday morning and provided written recommendations later that evening.
Tonight I received the following comments in an email...

Thank you for being so timely and so detailed with this report. It is excellent and truly reflects spot-on suggestions and clear explanations for the homeowner and me. Watching you work in person and reading the report, it is evident that you have a very good eye for the spaces, color, layout and flow. After you left, I suggested more than once that Mary utilize your services beyond this consultation to the full extent that you offer! She indicated that she would like to have you back to actually do some of the work with her, so I hope that that happens. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes awhile for her to call you as she is feeling the full scope of the task ahead of her.
I will also pass along to our brokers that you are awesome to work with, truly professional and that our company NEEDS to send some business your way! Trust me, if I had 30 listings, I'd be having you consult/stage every single one!! Just waiting for the 30 listings. ;-) Have a great remainder of your weekend, and thank you so much again!

Staging for Janet

Off of a referral from a mutual friend, Janet contacted me and asked if I would meet with her for an initial consultation so that she could get an idea of what types of changes would be recommended in order to sell her incredible condo in Bellevue, WA.

I had the pleasure and honor of working with Janet for a couple weeks -- staging for sale (while also planning for her next place).

Staging the Set

Since I was a kid, I have been arranging and decorating rooms, offices, banquet halls and theater stages. I absolutely love creating warm, inviting and intentional spaces. In my mind, I am envisioning the space as a stage and my goal is to creatively display pieces so that the intended flow, function, and feeling are achieved.

For a home owner looking to sell, the intended outcome will be quite different than the couple wanting to decorate their first home. Staging a home for sale requires one to focus on simplicity and how best to attract the buyer. Decorating is much more of a true reflection of the home owners' personalities, traditions, cultures and interests.

So, let's journey through the various sets and discover the many fun and exciting ways to stage and decorate...
